How it works

• Enter your estimated Roof Width and Roof Length in Linear Feet (similar to the width and length of the house).
• Enter your estimated Roof Pitch (the steepness of your roof). For example 6:12 means 6 inches horizontal for every 12 inches vertical. A 6:12 is a common roof pitch.
• Enter your Roof Design based on the complexity — simple, somewhat intricate, or complex and detailed.
• The calculator gives the estimated Square count (100 SQ FT is 1 Square) and estimated cost to replace your roof with a 50-yr architectural asphalt shingle.
• The estimates are based off of current market conditions and should only be used for generic pricing.
